I am a professional conductor, orchestrator and orchestra arranger based in Barcelona, with over 20 years of experience.
Software can guess notes; only a trained ear that stands in front of orchestras can hear how a full orchestra is really voiced — and write it so real musicians can play it at the first rehearsal. Frequently asked questions
How is the price calculated?
Pricing is based on the duration of the music, not on the number of instruments. Transcription costs $30 USD per 30 seconds and orchestration $40 USD per 30 seconds. Example: a 2-minute piece to transcribe is 4 blocks of 30 seconds, so 4 × $30 = $120 USD.
Do you use AI or automatic transcription software?
No. Every note is written by ear and by hand by a professional orchestrator and conductor. Notation software (Sibelius, Finale, Dorico, MuseScore) is used only to engrave the result, never to “guess” the notes.
Can I contact you outside Fiverr?
Yes. Use the contact form or write to composer@andres-soto.es. Orchestras, publishers, studios and large projects often prefer a direct agreement; for quick orders, Fiverr gives you instant checkout and payment protection.
Which file formats will I receive?
Full score and parts in PDF, the editable source file (Sibelius, Finale, Dorico or MuseScore), plus MusicXML and MIDI on request.
Can you transcribe a low-quality recording?
Yes. This is where human transcription clearly beats software: orchestral knowledge lets me reconstruct inner voices and harmonies that are buried in the mix, while keeping the arrangement faithful to the original style.
Do you work in Spanish?
Yes — I work in English and Spanish. Versión en español.
Who holds the rights to the original music?
Arrangements and transcriptions are commissioned services: I write the score on your behalf and claim no rights over the original works. If the music is protected by copyright, the client is responsible for obtaining the necessary licences (performance, recording or publication) from the rights holders or the relevant collecting society.
